Trust & safety review process
Risk scores are advisory signals, not findings that a business has committed fraud.
Appeal a business verdict
A business representative may submit its legal or recognised name, official domain, a contact address, and links or a description of evidence. Claims are not published. We do not accept a claim alone as proof of ownership, and submitting one does not immediately alter a risk score.
Our target is to acknowledge and resolve claims within 10 business days. Complex cases may take longer; use the claim reference to check status.
Submit or check a business claim →Review methodology
- A reviewer checks that the submitter is authorised to represent the business and that evidence supports control of the domain.
- Where possible, evidence is checked against authoritative business or licensing registers and the organisation's own published channels.
- Approved domains receive a limited positive trust signal; this cannot cancel a critical threat signal. Rejections include a decision note in the case audit trail.
- Each submission and decision is timestamped with its reviewer and note. Claim details are available only to reviewers and are not shown in public verdicts.
- Approved domains can be included as safe cases in the held-out calibration corpus. Corpus changes are reviewed, de-duplicated, and version-controlled; calibration outcomes do not automatically determine individual appeals.
